Horizontal electrophoresis in agarose gels is a routine technique in laboratories of molecular biology and genetics to the preparation of plasmids, PCR reactions, restriction fragment analysis, analytical gels and standard nucleic acid preparation, etc.. To this end, the horizontal electrophoresis Nahita buckets are specially designed for separation, identification and preparation of DNA and RNA molecules in agarose gels. The trays are supplied complete with all accessories needed for the preparation and electrophoresis gels:
FEATURES:
- Electrophoresis chamber made of high quality acrylic material and in one piece without seams to prevent fluid leakage and breakage. Has 4 legs and 2 slip replaceable electrodes of pure platinum resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. The cover has slots to dissipate heat and two fixed cables with banana plug power.
- Mold for the preparation of gels, each model comes with a template for the preparation of gels of different sizes (see table). The molds have lateral grooves for the placement and support up to 2 parallel combs in the event of having to analyze a large number of samples simultaneously.
- Gel Tray with ruler dark band integrated to facilitate viewing of the wells and thereby facilitate the loading of samples.
- Double set of combs of different thickness and number of samples.
