Description
  • The hydroalcoholic Antiseptic Gel is a product made from N-duopropenide (NDP ®) combined with alcohols and emollients. The set of components creates a hydroalcoholic solution with proven action on the permanent and transient flora that cares, protects and moisturises the skin.
  • The NDP Microbiocidal ® is a compound that causes the inactivation of enzymes and coenzymes vital to the lives of all pathogens. It is a mixture of quaternary ammonium iodides with cationic and nonionic surfactants with synergistic properties clearly differentiated from the traditional quaternary ammonium compounds
  • Alcohols exert their antimicrobial action through protein denaturation. They are very effective against gram-positive and negative, M.tuberculosis, fungi and viruses (mainly housing).
  • Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) cares, protects and moisturises the skin. Assist the regeneration of tissues and maintains an adequate level of moisture in the lower layers of the skin.

Composition:

  • N-Duopropenide 0.46%
  • Ethyl Alcohol: 60%
  • Isopropyl Alcohol: 15%
  • Suitable excipients csp: 100%
  • The reference HGSD0100 consists of a 70% alcohol, 39% ethanol, 26% w / w 2-propanol, 0.5 triclosan, adjuvants and emollients.

 Instructions for use

  • Hygienic treatment of hands by friction (in 1500) Use  enough amount of NDP Derm to rub hands for 30 seconds. The minimum dosage is 3 ml. Follow the technique specified in the standard EN 1500 and described below: 6-step technique for hand hygiene with NDP Derm:
  • Rub palm to palm
  • Rub the palm of your right hand with the back of your left hand and vice versa
  • Rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced
  • Rub backs of fingers against the opposite palm with fingers interlaced
  • Rub rotating your left thumb in your right palm and vice versa.
  • With rotations, rub fingertips together on the palm of the opposite hand and vice versa
  • Preoperative disinfection of hands and forearms (EN 12791) Use a sufficient amount of Derm NDP to rub hands and forearms for 3 minutes (minimum dose 10 ml). We recommend washing hands with soap before applying the solution. Follow the technique described in the standard EN 1500 or 12791 previously reported. It is recommended to reapply the alcohol solution after 3 h, in long-term interventions.

 Precautions

  • The product contains alcohol. Avoid applying the product in presence of fire or hot surfaces.
  • May cause eye irritation on direct contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, wash with water.
  • R11 (Highly flammable). Slightly irritating to eyes and skin. R67 (Vapors may cause drowsiness and dizziness).
  • S2 (Keep out of reach of children), S3 (Keep in a cool place), S7 / 8 (Keep container tightly closed and dry), S13 (Keep away from food, drink and animal food), S16 (Keep away from flame or any source of ignition - No smoking), S25 (Avoid contact with eyes), Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes or sensitive areas of diseased skin and wounds, S26 (In case of eye contact , rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice), S46 (In case of ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label), S49 (Keep only in original container).
