What is Cavitation?

Cavitation is a non-invasive (no surgery) treatment for shaping the body that reduces volume eliminating cellulite and localised adipose tissue in the abdomen, hips, inner thighs and knees, arms and back ...

Treatment is indicated for healthy people who want improve the appearance of your body without having to resort to surgery.
Highly satisfactory results are achieved from the first sessions.
The results can be permanent, as fat cells do not multiply.

Cavitation uses low frequency ultrasound on the skin surface to produce pressure and temperature changes in the interstitial fluid of adipose tissue.

Ultrasonic waves converge on the area to try and cause repeated creation of "micro bubbles." These bubbles implode stored energy to separate fatty nodules, breaking the membrane of adipocytes and dissolving the fat thus allowing the release of their contents. These bubbles "vibrate" so that adipose tissue is broken down transforming triglycerides into diglycerides. The adipose tissue then passes from solid to liquid.

These are then metabolised and eliminated naturally by the body through the lymphatic system, venous and finally through the urine.

The low-frequency ultrasound manages to break the adipose tissue without damaging the microcirculation; blood vessels are elasticised enough to absorb this pressure without breaking.
Neither does it damage the surrounding organs or tissues. The ultrasound waves are have a frequency above human audibility (> 20 kHz = 20,000).

The higher the ultrasonic frequency, less depth is reached
The lower the ultrasonic frequency, more depth is reached
A frequency of 3 MHz reaches a depth of 25mm
A frequency of 1 MHz to a depth of 60-70mm

1 KHz is equal to 1000 MHz

Cavitation occurs with 40 kHz ultrasound and the depth of action is limited to 1.5 or 2 cm.
Adipose tissue is more superficial than muscles and organs.
No organ is located at a depth of 1 to 2 cm more than the panniculus adiposus
In any case, to prevent erroneous applications in regions less than 2.5 cm thick, it is recommended for treating abdominals; the extended lateral position of the patient and the application of the treatment in a clamp form of the ultrasound head.

Before undergoing cavitation treatment, determine the status of the client and do not take unnecessary risks. For this reason, it is advisable for the patient to previously submit to an analytical test of kidney and liver functions as well as the monitoring of lipid metabolism during treatment being that fatty acids can be released into the blood and lymph. If previous levels are already high they should be reduced before treatment.

After each session of cavitation it is essential to carry out any activity that helps the body eliminate fat, whether manual lymphatic drainage sessions, using a vibration platform, acupressure, exercising ...
For the same reason it is essential to maintain a balanced diet and drink plenty of water before and after treatment, to facilitate the removal of mobilised fat.

Adding other techniques after each session, such as radiofrequency treatment can provide greater precision in treatment, and facilitate better results.

It's Results

- Reduce localised adipose tissue.
- Improve the tone and elasticity of skin tissue.
- Reduce cellulite.
- Body contouring.
- Body lifting.
- Activating the blood circulation.
- Elimination of incipient grooves.
- Reduce the treated area in centimetres.

10 questions about CAVITATION:

Leaving little doubt about the ultimate in body apparatus technology; cavitation; we answer the 10 most frequently asked questions.

1. What is cavitation?
Cavitation is a revolutionary technology, thanks to low-frequency ultrasonic waves, it produces microscopic bubbles that break the membranes of fat cells without affecting surrounding structures, respecting the integrity of the blood and lymphatic system.

2. What will I gain from it?
Weight loss.
Volume loss.
Dissolution of fat mass.
Reaffirmation of tissue

3. Is there another similar treatment?
Cavitation is the only one able to eliminate the fat at the cellular level. The fat is easily removed via the lymphatic system and through the urine.

4. Do I have to do any additional treatment?
It is advised to follow a low caloric diet. Also recommended are lymphatic drainage sessions. It is very important to drink plenty of water throughout treatment (from 1.5 to 2 litres a day).

5. How soon can I see the results?
The sessions are undergone once a week or every ten days. The results are immediate.
Some women notice a reduction of up to two sizes in two or three sessions alone, others take a little longer, but all notice a substantial decrease in a relatively short time.

6. How does the patient feel while applying the treatment?
You may experience a slight tingling sensation and the ears may ring slightly. That's it. On the ultrasound, however, the feeling is cool and pleasant. Many patients fall asleep.

7. Why Cavitation?
Because it is effective, requires no anaesthesia, it is non-invasive and has no risks.

8. How many sessions will I need?
It depends on you, but between 4 and 12 sessions should be sufficient to complete treatment.

9. Do I need follow up treatments?

The effect is durable however you can make a monthly treatment to help the effects last longer.

10. Are there any contraindications?
In no case should this treatment to undergone by pregnant women, people with
prosthesis in the treatment area, or people with pacemakers.
